SA
Boxing is the United States member organization of
the International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA)
and is solely responsible for the
administration, development and promotion of Olympic-style boxing
in the US.
Our goal in Connecticut
is to educate and provide opportunities for Boxers, Officials,
and Coaches while stressing the most important factor, safety.
USA Boxing athletes are
both Male and Female and compete against boxers of their own
age, weight and experience. They are taught life skills as well,
learning discipline, respect, good sportsmanship, camaraderie,
teamwork, and a sense of community pride and involvement.
